According to Salven Lagumbay's article in philboxing, plans are underway for a possible battle between the newly-crowned WBO Superbantamweight king Juan Manuel Lopez and Filipino prospect Bernabe Concepcion.

According to JuanMa's manager, Perter Rivera, in an interview with with El Nuevo Dia as quoted by Boxingscene, the plan is to have JuanMa fight two more times before the year is over. That puts the possibility of Concepcion facing Juanma on the November card headlined by Pacman.

However, it is not only Abe Concepcion who is being eyed as possible JuanMa's opponent. Sergion Medina, who was beaten by Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista last year, is also in the crosshair.
